Michigan AFL-CIO endorses Jeremy Moss

Southfield Councilman Jeremy Moss picked up major support in his bid to become State Representative from Michigan's 35th District.

The Michigan AFL-CIO endorsed Moss, a Democrat who will appear on the Aug. 5 primary election ballot.

"Jeremy Moss worked tirelessly with me and the rest of our brothers and sisters in labor to fight against this State Legislature's extreme agenda to dismantle collective bargaining. Working families can count on Jeremy to be a State Representative who will protect Michigan's middle class,” said Karla Swift, President of the Michigan AFL-CIO.

The Michigan branch of the AFL-CIO represents over 1,000,000 active and retired members across 59 unions across the state, and works to improve the lives of working families by fighting for both economic and social justice.

“This is an influential and important advocacy organization in Michigan, and I’m proud to be their endorsed candidate for State Representative in Michigan’s 35th District. Their support adds to the growing list of supporters that I meet each day who know that I’ll be an effective legislator to fight for their values,” Moss said.
