State Sen. Vincent Gregory endorses Jeremy Moss as successor

State Sen. Vincent Gregory endorsed State Rep. Jeremy Moss today to succeed him in representing Michigan's 11th State Senate District.

"I first met Jeremy when he was 18 years old and eager to start getting involved in civic activities to make a difference in our hometown," Gregory said. "Since that time, as he became Southfield's youngest councilmember and then a leader in the Michigan House of Representatives, Jeremy still has that same eagerness to help out our neighbors. There is no one I have more confidence in than Jeremy to serve our community in the Michigan State Senate."

Gregory was first elected to the State Senate in 2010 and cannot run for re-election due to term limits.

"Vince, who served a 30-year career in law enforcement, has been my County Commissioner, my State Representative, and my State Senator. He exemplifies what a dedicated public servant should be and I’m honored to earn his trust and endorsement." Moss said. "I'm excited by the opportunity to continue in Vince’s footsteps in this district and take on the big issues facing Michigan as a State Senator."

Moss also previously earned the endorsement of every other State Representative who serves in a portion of the 11th District – Jim Ellison, Christine Greig, and Robert Wittenberg.

The 11th District includes the Cities of Farmington, Farmington Hills, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Lathrup Village, Madison Heights, Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge and Southfield, and the Charter Township of Royal Oak.
