Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Endorses Jeremy Moss for Congress

Governor says Moss will continue to deliver results for Oakland County families in 11th Congressional District

Oakland County, MI – Today, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced her endorsement of Michigan Senate President Pro Tempore Jeremy Moss (D – Bloomfield) in his race for the open 11th Congressional District. 

Over the last seven years, Gov. Whitmer and Sen. Moss have partnered to pass some of the most consequential legislation at the State Capitol, from delivering a billion dollars in tax relief for working families and seniors to protecting voting rights and expanding civil rights. The Governor expressed her confidence that Sen. Moss will continue to deliver real results for Oakland County in Congress. 

“Jeremy Moss is a tough, tested leader who fights like hell every day to make Michiganders’ lives better,” said Gov. Whitmer. “As a member of Congress, I know he will stand up for working families, lower costs for Michiganders, and fight for our freedoms. Moss is one of the most effective legislators in Lansing, with Gov. Whitmer signing 23 of his bills into law tackling some of Michigan’s most pressing issues, including making housing more affordable.
