Candidate for Southfield House seat

 

Democrat Jeremy Moss, a member of the Southfield City Council, released a statement on Thursday announcing a run for Rep. Rudy Hobbs's seat in the House come 2014.

Mr. Hobbs (D-Southfield) is forgoing re-election to run for a seat in the U.S. House. Mr. Moss previously served as the district director for Mr. Hobbs and as a legislative aide to former Rep. Paul Condino.

"I'm a lifelong resident of this community. The people who live in Michigan's 35th House District are my neighbors, friends, family and former classmates from this district's public school system, and as a Southfield city councilman, many are my constituents already. I am deeply connected with their concerns," Mr. Moss said.
