Statement from UFCW Local 876 endorsing Jeremy Moss

The United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 876 released the following statement today endorsing Jeremy Moss, Democratic candidate for State Representative in Michigan’s 35th House District:

“We know the type of State Representative Jeremy Moss will be because we’ve seen firsthand his dedicated work on the Southfield City Council. We’ve worked hand in hand with Jeremy on issues that will strengthen Michigan’s middle class and boost our state’s local economy. We strongly support Jeremy’s campaign to bring his demonstrated leadership in local government to the State Legislature,” said Christos Michalakis, Executive Assistant to the President of UFCW Local 876.

Moss has earned the endorsement of every labor organization that has weighed in on the 35th House District race to date, including Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 2 of Michigan, Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Craftworkers Local Union 25, Detroit Plumbers Union Local 98, Michigan Roofers Local 149, Sheet Metal Workers' Local 80, and other Greater Detroit locals affiliated with the Michigan Building and Construction Trades Council, which endorsed Moss earlier this year, and the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, which endorsed Moss last month.
